River Belle Casino expands its list of games
Well
like some great’ve said
the more is better. He was right in most cases. This is one of the offshore online casinos. Perhaps this is the way to succeed in business. If people get too bored with the same run of games and slow down (or
even
stop playing)
they need to be given novelty to reignite their enthusiasm. It’s currently based in Gibraltar but
with its tax haven status ending in the near future
it will be interesting to see if the River Belle stays put or sails off to one of the remaining havens. This month they’ve added some new games. They’re the usual mix of slots and video poker games which add a few more twists and turns to the playing experience. So we’ve got standard games repackaged. This time
there’s both a science-fiction-themed and a fantasy-themed 5-reel
20-playline slot with doubling and quadrupling gambling options
plus a revamp of Jacks or Better Level-Up Poker
where prizes increase as you work your way up through the four levels. If you think your life will be richer for another video poker game
try this new game at the River Belle.
Lawyers fail to recognize a vessel
Long time ago there was one outstanting casino among land-based casinos of New Orleans. The combination of storm surge and wind knocked the old girl around and sent her off to dry dock for repairs. It seems the rent for tying up at the dock was payable even though the poor old thing might sink. But once you get lawyers involved
claims raise upwards. By the time they’d finished
the claim for rent was $20.6m
there were “fees” of $1.6m
and a repair bill of $1.5m – the riverboat knocked into the marina dock and did some damage. So the owners sold the riverboat (always sell your assets when sued). It’s renamed the Amanda Belle and up at Bayou Boeuf in St. Mary Parish. But on July 25 the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the case. The judges offered the insight that a riverboat is a “vessel”
which causes all the construction to move
but the lease was for buildings. Without a maritime lease
there was no cause of action. Attention all lawyers. Anything that floats is a ship
OK!
